This is the song that we were going to learn for Palm Sunday and sing for all the adults together.
Remember that the word Hosanna means “Save us now!” This is what the people shouted when Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem.
They wanted Jesus to save them from the Romans and to be their king. It was an exciting time! Imagine being one of the people welcoming Jesus to Jerusalem that day as you sing along with this song.
What do YOU want Jesus to save you from?
The people in Jerusalem didn’t understand that Jesus came to be the king of their hearts and lives, not their country. And He is still King today!
Let’s watch a new song about God being the king of us!
God loves you.
He demonstrated His love for you in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. And His love will never give up or get tired. This week as we think about what Jesus did by dying for us and coming back to life again, remember that you can pray about every worry, every angry, sad, or disappointed thought, everything!
God loves you forever and ever!
Play “King of Me” again. This time sing along, and march and clap on the chorus!
Everyone take turns completing this prayer:
Dear Jesus, please help me with . . .
Or
Dear Jesus, I’m glad you are my King because . . .
Debbie, thank you for including all of us as recipients of your kids worship time. As a senior member of Emmanuel I was so impressed with the program that you are presenting to the children of our church. This lesson was so colorful and so upbeat, I personally found joy in the music and the content. It’s exactly what our kids need! You are doing an outstanding job. I only wish I had grandchildren in this age group. Thank you for your dedication and hard work.
Sally
Thank you Sally! It is a joy to put things together for the families of our church, and I’m so glad that it brought you joy, too!
Debbie
Another great one Debbie! Rock on!!
Thank you, Dori! I miss seeing you. I hope you are doing well.
Debbie

Charles and Lori Hall found “Hosanna Rock.” And I agree! The songs are very fun! Thank you, Becky!
